Anthony G

Yes there is a great possibility to integrate the AdvoligixPM with Google Apps as it is also a cloud based application and thus can be integrated easily.

If you have GoogleApps or a GMail account you can synchronize your calendar and contact lists, as well as save email to Advologix.

Recommendation:
Try to explore the Pilot of AdvoLogix Pm with a Gmail account, both of them are available free so you can try by your own.

In case you require any further information reach me at:

Andrew, You're absolutely right...it's not new...that's what the article is trying to spell out...It has come a long way from being an industry-oriented technology to something more suited to general internet users...It has evolved commendably, and so reliably that people simply don't mind putting their personal data on the Cloud. There have been a spate of driving factors that have made this shift possible..most noted of them include widespread availability of the Internet-supported platforms, smartphones and tablets, high internet speed, to name a few..

Nice analogy whoever has tried it!
Now take the Einstein's theory of relativity as the next level of Marketing 2.0. E=mc^2. What would you conserve-the Energy of the marketers or the velocity of the adoption? That would be an interesting read.

Cloud computing represents the final step in the evolution of computing from Mainframes and Centralized processing to Distributed Systems (PC based networks) and the shades of both of these along the way before we evolved to the Cloud. In one way, Cloud is a virtualized central processing system where the hardware, software tools and applications reside. Looked at another way, the Cloud is simply an extension of your PC where the peripherals and software applications are available, instead of or in addition to on your local PC. I believe the Cloud will get better in terms of reliability, availability, security, affordability and service levels progressively until some day, all you will need is your smart phone and a better display facility to achieve more and more productivity in business and your personal life.
